The Wolfman. 2010.

This is my first blog, and well it's pretty simple what I will be doing - Reviewing movies. So I'm going to start it off with my review of "The Wolfman".

Well, well, well. The Wolfman has had a rocky start with the numerous re-shoots and delays, But now it is finally here .... and boy is it good!

First off I am going to talk about the acting. For me Benico Del Toro stole the show. I think he did a stellar performance with his captivating character and emotional value. Also, Sir Anthony Hopkins did a fantastic job as Del Toro's character's father. In the supporting role is Emily Blunt, who also does a great job.

Now the story which is similar to the original is very good with a few added twist and turns. Even though I enjoyed it I would have liked one more transformation before the end but the story summed it up with enough of them.

Lastly the costume and setting design is very well done. Some have said the Wolfman's costume looks like a "hairy ape". I disagree. I think it is very well done. Also, the human characters wear authentic 1891 clothing. Along with the great costuming the setting is very real and awesome looking. It feels like England in 1891. Complete with the superstitious citizens and local gypsies.

All around The Wolfman is a great movie. It is perfect for fans of an American Werewolf in London and for fans of blood and guts. Go see The Wolfman for Valentines Day! Not that stupid movie "Valentines Day". I give the wolfman a 5 out of 5.
